The College is pleased to confirm that it has now endorsed the Therapod Adjustable Back Support System. This is an Australian designed and manufactured product which is now available internationally.

This unique and patented support can be used in many applications. It features as a stand-alone Back Support, and can be part of a recliner chair, an office chair, car seats, a wheel chair and even electric scooters.

The support offers precise spinal support in four specific locations, as well as a dynamic and flexible back-shell which offers lateral support.

The back support is able to be used in a normal chair or to give extra support in a car seat, as not all cars have an adequate lumber support.

When the Therapod Adjustable Back Support becomes part of another product such as a recliner chair this is done in Australia by experienced personnel.

All chairs are manufactured in strict accordance of Australian Standards, and are independently assessed by Furntech - the testing authority appointed to monitor ergonomic and durability standards and are located in Tasmania.
