Executive Director’s Report

John Jannese

In the last issue of COCA News, we lead with the announcement that our flagship journal Australasian Chiropractic & Osteopathy had been renamed Chiropractic & Osteopathy.

I am proud to say that our new internet journal Chiropractic & Osteopathy has been a spectacular success. The journal went on-line in April 2005 and already many articles have been accepted for publication. All papers accepted by Chiropractic & Osteopathy will also be listed with PUBMED.

I encourage members to visit the site on www.chiroandosteo.com

COCA Membership Directory – a new member service
This year COCA is compiling its first annual 2005-06 Membership Directory.

All members have been asked to carefully check that your existing practice details we have on file are correct and to make changes if necessary.

Please ensure that any changes you make are legible, as wrong or misinterpreted entries will remain unchanged until next year.

COCA membership – Certified Practising Member (CPM)
Many members have already taken the opportunity to upgrade their existing COCA membership to CPM.

Remember, CPM is COCA’s highest level of membership – and all CPM’s will receive prominence in the new 2005-06 COCA membership directory.

For most members the application process is simple. If you total 200 points or more of continuing education, you will only be required to complete the first page of the CPM application form and sign the declaration on the last page. If you do not have an application contact COCA on 1300 13 99 50 and we will rush you an application.
