New Life Member

At the recent COCA Annual General Meeting, Past President, Dr Simon French was honoured with Life Membership. Dr French has undertaken many roles for COCA including Honorary Treasurer, Editor of Australasian Chiropractic & Osteopathy and of course was President in 2000-01. In recent years he has also represented both COCA and the chiropractic profession as a member of the panel for Development of evidence-based guidelines for the management of acute low back pain, (Australian Acute Musculoskeletal Pain Guidelines Group) funded by the NH&MRC, as well as the panel for the Development of evidence-based guidelines for general practitioners for the management of acute low back pain, (RACGP). Dr French currently works at the Australasian Cochrane Centre as a lecturer and research Officer and is a member of the prestigious Back Review Group, of the Cochrane Collaboration. Simon remains an enormous asset to the College and remains an active member of the Executive and Sub-Editor of Australasian Chiropractic & Osteopathy.
