COCA Appoints Executive Director

The Executive Committee of COCA is pleased to announce the appointment of Executive Director, John Jannese.

John has come to COCA with an impressive employment history, including the last 2 years as the Executive Officer of the Psychologists Registration Board of Victoria and 8 years previous with the Australian Physiotherapy Association in senior management positions. This experience working for health and manual therapy organisations gives John good grounding for working with COCA.

John’s transition to working with the COCA Executive has occurred smoothly and he has demonstrated a good understanding of COCA’s Objectives and Mission Statement. John has been involved with other allied health professions’ Registration Boards and has sat on the Australian Council of Professions and Business round table. John is also a Fellow of the Australian Society of Certifed Practicing Accountants, which will be a great asset for COCA’s financial management.

In the 2 months John has been with COCA, he has already instigated positive changes, improving the administration of COCA and COCA’s professional standing. The COCA Committee is excited at what John is bringing to our organisation and look forward to a prosperous working relationship.
