Mission Statement
To provide and foster quality vocational and educational services and advocate best practice for Chiropractors, Osteopaths and related health professionals.

Objectives of the College


The Chiropractic and Osteopathic College of Australasia is a non-profit organisation comprising Chiropractors, Osteopaths and related health professionals.

The objectives of the College are:

  • to educate chiropractors, osteopaths and other health professionals about the diagnosis and management of musculo-skeletal disorders.
  • to encourage patient management in a scientific and ethical manner.
  • to assist in promoting best practices and standards of patient care.
  • to support practitioners in improving the health and healthcare of the Australian community.
  • to promote knowledge of disorders of the musculo-skeletal system and related aspects of health care.
  • to provide a forum for the interchange of ideas related to such disorders.
  • to conduct, promote and arrange seminars, conferences and distance education and practice-based learning activities.
  • to provide benefits and relevant resources to members.
  • to promote the integration of Chiropractors and Osteopaths into, and foster their collaboration with, the broader community health team.
  • to act as a stakeholder and advocate for issues relating to the needs of our members.
  • to foster related research.
  • to participate in activities related to public health and health promotion.
