National Registration Authority approval for Healthguard
HealthGuard, the Australian developed method of reducing dust mites and their associated pathogens, has now been registered with the National Registration Authority.
“HealthGuard anti dust mite / anti microbial treatments are currently the only product of this kind to have National Registration Authority approval,” says Dr Chris Harvey. “The NRA approval for our anti dust mite treatment sets us apart from other treatments, which claim dust mite control. “HealthGuard anti dust mite treatment kills the cause of the pathogens, the dust mite.”
The HealthGuard treatment has been through a full assessment by the NRA, which includes environmental assessment, efficacy, occupational health and safety, chemistry and residues, toxicity and therapeutic goods reviews.
“We had to prove our product was safe, reliable and effective,” said Dr Harvey. “HealthGuard anti dust mite and anti microbial treatments have achieved the distinction of being the market leader in safe dust mite inhibition, no tributyltin oxide is used in the products.
“Furniture manufacturers can specify that their construction materials, foam, fabric and polyester fillings are treated with HealthGuard anti dust mite/ anti microbial treatments and they can rest assured they are using a safe, reliable Australian product which kills dust mites and inhibits bacterial growth.”
