Membership of COCA is open to registered Chiropractors, Osteopaths and related health care practitioners.
There are four main categories of membership:
Full - Open to all registered chiropractors and osteopaths.
First Year - Open to registered chiropractors and osteopaths in their first year of practice since graduation.
Academic - Open to a registered chiropractor or osteopath employed as an academic at an apporved university (min 0.6 Effective Full Time).
Student - Open to any student enrolled in an approved Australian educational institution as a chiropractic or ostepathic student.
Affiliate Individual - Open to any registered chiropractor, osteopath or primary health care practitioner who practices part-time or is retired.

Acknowledged, Awarded and Honorary Memberships
Certified Practising (CPM)
A COCA Certified Practising Member award shall be bestowed upon chiropractors and osteopaths who have met specific education criteria.
Life
Life membership may be bestowed upon persons for distinguished continuous service and/or commitment to COCA; to the profession (such as for acclaimed research); or to a past president three years after stepping down as president.
Honorary
Honorary membership may be bestowed upon distinguished persons who receive a unanimous vote from the serving Executive.
Overseas Affiliate
COCA Overseas Affiliate membership may be awarded to financial members of The College of Chiropractors (UK).
Other Membership
Associate
Applies to any registered primary health care practitioner or person holding a relevant basic science degree who has been engaged in relevant research.
Affiliate Student
Affiliate Status (Student) may be open to students that are not chiropractic or osteopathic students.
Affiliate Corporate
Affiliate Status (Corporate) may be open to entities such as corporations, companies, educational institutions or other interested bodies.
