The theme of this DE module / conference Chronic Musculoskeletal Pain is very relevant for all practitioners who treat patients with conditions affecting the musculoskeletal system. The challenge for all of us is how to reduce the pain and disability experienced by these patients and prevent patients from moving into the world of chronic pain. This challenge is particularly pertinent to practitioners who utilise manual therapy where dependency on passive treatment modalities is a potential outcome.
