Do you have everything in order to renew your registration?

The end of the registration year is fast approaching (30th November) which means you need to ensure you have met your Formal Learning Activity requirements and be up to date with First Aid.

COCA has been expanding its online offering over the last 6-12 months and the range now covers a variety of topics relevant to daily practice. Go to the Education page on this site to see what is available.

If you are needing to refresh your First Aid knowledge, Red Cross has recently updated their course offering and also provided COCA with new discounted rates for members who elect to attend their courses. You can find information about these courses by logging into the Members Only section of this site.

COCA’s Patient Information Video

In the latter part of 2013 COCA completed work on a patient information video on Neck & Low Back Pain.

The video, which runs for 4 minutes,  provides patients with information about the incidence of neck and back pain in the Australian population and promotes chiropractors and osteopaths in general, and COCA members in particular, as the practitioners to consult for spinal pain and musculoskeletal disorders.

The video also informs patients what they should expect when visiting a COCA member chiropractor or osteopath and the options for treatment of their condition.
