COCA signs partnership with innovative exercise prescription platform Physitrack
Prescribing home exercise programs to patients and keeping them motivated along the way is no easy task, while knowing how patients are tracking with their exercises and the progress they are making has been impossible. Until now.
Physitrack provides an online library of over 900 clearly narrated exercise videos and lets health practitioners prescribe these exercises knowing the patient will be shown the correct technique. Furthermore, Physitrack keeps a real time record of adherence which the practitioner can review and adjust treatment accordingly. For further information about Physitrack and the discounted subscription rate and free trial available to COCA members click here.
COCA’s Patient Information Video
In the latter part of 2013 COCA completed work on a patient information video on Neck & Low Back Pain.
The video, which runs for 4 minutes, provides patients with information about the incidence of neck and back pain in the Australian population and promotes chiropractors and osteopaths in general, and COCA members in particular, as the practitioners to consult for spinal pain and musculoskeletal disorders.
The video also informs patients what they should expect when visiting a COCA member chiropractor or osteopath and the options for treatment of their condition.
